The Lanka Sugar Company, since its establishment, has played a significant role in supporting both the Department of Plantation and the Factory. Historically, the Survey Division conducted land surveys for the company, dividing the land into plots and distributing them to farmers for sugarcane cultivation. In the past, these surveys relied on traditional instruments such as the theodolite, level, chain, leveling staff, Rotring pen, square sheet, planimeter, calculating scale, and protractor.

Presently, we utilize AutoCAD Civil3D, Total Station, Google Earth Pro, and Google Maps for our surveying tasks. Here are the various services we provide to the Plantation Department
